A partner such as the TK shouldn't be missing at an event like this. About half a year ago, TK was the first health insurance company to crack the then million mark of insured people. The largest public health insurance company in Germany stands for excellent performance, solid finances and a lean corporate structure. As in beach volleyball, the team that creates a strong community and adapts the fastest to new situations is in the lead.
"We are very pleased that with the TK we have a strong health partner for the University Beach Volleyball World Championship", said WUBC Vice President and adh Secretary General Dr. Christoph Fischer. "Events such as the WUBC are important building blocks for promoting having fun with exercise and a healthy lifestyle. We are positive that the enthusiasm for sports will also jump over to the visitors when the top international athletes fight for the medals in breathtaking games" explains Fischer.
People in Germany spend an average of seven hours per day in sitting position. The TK study "Move, Germany!" found that every second person does not play sports and every fifth describes themself as an anti-sports person. The consequences are widespread problems such as obesity, back pain, postural disorders and cardiovascular disease. "As a health partner of the WUBC, we want to help fight them" says Ingmar Bertling, TK market area manager for Southern Bavaria.
The TK will be present on all five match days with the event module T-Wall, which will motivate a healthy urge to move. Fast, accurate and good hand-eye coordination - various reaction games will bring fun for young and old visitors. This also ensures an exuberant, happy atmosphere on the competition days in the Munich Olympic Park.
